Hockey Scoreboard Media

As Manager of Advertising Content for the Lincoln Stars hockey team, I produced all video content for the arena scoreboard. Over two seasons, I created custom motion graphics designed to enhance the live game experience, including this goal animation that played each time the home team scored. Once the puck dropped, I also produced and directed the live in-arena game presentation including themed sponsored nights. For each game I managed interns, delegated production responsibilities, and coordinated all game operations for the video board show.

For each team in the league, I created custom motion graphics tailored to their game night. I handled the full production process, including 3D modeling, animation, and compositing, to deliver visuals like this for the arena scoreboard. 

During intermissions and gameplay pauses, I created custom videos and interactive segments that integrated paid sponsorships. This piece ran at every game, with the outcome determining which section of the arena received a promotional coupon for the featured restaurant. 

The Lincoln Stars are a team of amateur hockey players with a strong focus on community engagement in Lincoln, Nebraska. For this video, I combined my 3D graphics with archival footage of community events and on-ice gameplay to highlight the team’s community impact. Variations of this piece were used as opening videos, celebrating past and present players at the start of each game.

To help drive ticket sales, the team’s mascot, Comit, and I attended community events to promote the Lincoln Stars. I filmed and produced this video for both social media and the arena scoreboard.

To highlight each goal on the scoreboard, I created custom player specific animations that played on the jumbotron whenever a player scored. These were part of a broader set of motion graphics I created that was used throughout the game experience.
